We, as citizens, deserve good government and elected officials who are held accountable.
When given the privilege and honor to serve you, the residents of District 2 on the county commission, I pledge to work with honesty, integrity, and transparency.
More specifically, I intend to be a disciplined cost cutter with an eye on the bottom-line. I pledge to consider each and every vote and issue with an eye toward the future. Too often, our elected officials govern by reacting to current circumstances rather than planning for our future needs. Often failing to consider long-term consequences in favor of short-term benefits.
Our children and grand-children deserve a community that is financially strong, an environment that is clean, a transportation infrastructure that is efficient, and growth that has adequately been planned for future uses and needs.
